Volunteers Make the Miracle Happen
The Miracle League of Plymouth is a nonprofit organization powered almost entirely by volunteers. Each game takes a team of caring people working together to create a fun, supportive experience for our players.
Volunteer shifts last about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and volunteers sign up one game at a time, making it easy to fit into your schedule. We welcome volunteers ages 12 and older. If a volunteer is under 16, a parent or guardian must remain on site during the shift.
We recruit Buddy Volunteers, Game Announcers, Umpires, Photographers, and National Anthem Performers. Click any role to view the training sheet and learn what to expect. New this year, we have welcomed a new volunteer role, Homer, our Mascot! If you're interested in volunteering as a Game Announcer or as Homer, please email volunteer@plymouthmiracle.org to share your interest in the role.
We welcome individuals and groups, and offer group reservations to make planning easier. Whether you volunteer for one game this season or ten, we are incredibly grateful for your support.
Volunteer Background Checks
Beginning Fall 2026, the Miracle League of Plymouth will require an annual background check for all volunteers age 18 and older.
As part of our upgraded volunteer system, eligible volunteers will be prompted to review and consent to the background check before it is processed. Background checks will be completed once per year and are part of our continued commitment to providing a safe, welcoming environment for our players, families and volunteers.
Fall 2026 Volunteer Sign Up
Individuals
1. Please use the link below to access the volunteer SignUpGenius.
2. Please select the date, time, and position you would like to sign up for.
3. You will receive a confirmation email from SignUpGenius after you have submitted your sign-up. Following the approval of your shift, you will receive an email with steps to complete registration. Every volunteer must complete a waiver and register in order to volunteer. Please check your spam folder.

Groups
1. Have the group leader use the link below to access our sign-up. Please select all the dates, times, and positions your group will be volunteering for.
2. Once you have selected your options, please provide a group name and the number of volunteers participating in order to complete your sign-up.
3. Once your position has been reserved, you will receive an email confirming your sign-up. After our staff has approved your group, you will receive another email with a link to register the participants in your group. Please check your spam folder!
4. Please share the link with all the individual volunteers in your group. Every volunteer must complete registration in order to participate. Volunteers under 18 must have a signature from a parent or guardian.
Important: It is your responsibility to ensure the members of your group complete registration in the allotted time period. If we do not receive a participant's registration, they will not be counted towards participant totals.
