Buddies

A main part of our mission. You will be paired up with a MLP All-Star and your job is to ensure they have fun!

Announcers

A role needed during our baseball seasons, you will be the voice of the game! Announce our MLP All-Stars names and provide a play-by-play for our cheering crowd!

Umpires

A role needed during our baseball season. As a non-competitive league, we need someone to call our MLP All-Stars "SAAFFEEEE!!!". Its a fun position that guarantees a smile from our players!

Photographers

You will be capturing the magic during our baseball games or other events we host. Our heartwarming experience is hard to describe unless you witness it, so pictures are the next best thing. Cell phone pictures are accepted. No camera provided.

National Anthem Performers

This role is needed during our baseball season. Help us honor our Country by performing the National Anthem after our starting lineups. No auditions necessary.

Concession Stand Workers

This role is needed during our baseball season. You will be helping us sell packaged snacks, drinks, and MLP Gear to guests at our games. We need help keeping things stocked up and organized.

Buddy Coordinator

This role is needed during our baseball season. With large amounts of people coming to our field each game, we need help coordinating everyone getting the game started. While this is an unpaid, recurring volunteer position, you’ll make your own schedule and will be recognized as an MLP Staff Member — a title you can proudly add to your résumé. Baseball Coach

This is a crucial volunteer role during our baseball season, where you'll help create a fun, inclusive experience for all players. As a Coach, you’ll work alongside other Coaches on your team to run games, manage lineups, pitch to players, and relay important league information to families. While this is an unpaid, recurring volunteer position, you’ll have a say in your game schedule and will be recognized as an MLP Staff Member — a title you can proudly add to your résumé.

Volunteering with MLP

We are a nonprofit on a mission and we need your help! Most of our shifts run approximately an hour and 20 minutes. You can sign up for as many as you wish.

Age & Waiver Policy

We welcome volunteers age 10 and older
Volunteers under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the event
A parent or guardian (age 18+) must complete the waiver on behalf of any minor

Note: Whether you're volunteering individually or with a group, each volunteer must have their own account and completed waiver before participating. See below for more details.

Volunteer Registration Guidelines

To volunteer with us, every individual must create their own account on our volunteer website — even if you're part of a group.

Why This Matters

Creating your own account ensures:

Waivers are completed ahead of time
Smooth check-in on the day of your shift
You receive important shift details by email 24 hours in advance

Note: You cannot volunteer if you're not signed up on the website.

Key Points to Remember:

One email = One person. Each volunteer must register with their own email address.
Families: If both parents and children are volunteering, each person (including children) needs their own account.
Use the volunteer’s name: Make sure the account is under the name of the person actually coming to volunteer. If a parent creates an account in their name but only the child is volunteering, it may cause confusion at check-in.

We welcome both individual volunteers and group volunteers — here’s what each means:

Individual Volunteer

An individual volunteer is someone signing up on their own — not affiliated with a larger group.

You create your own account
You sign up for shifts that work for you
You receive direct communications from us

Group Volunteer

A group volunteer is someone volunteering as part of a larger group — 5 or more people— such as a school, company, club, or organization — that has arranged a volunteer opportunity together.

Your group leader communicates with us to set up the opportunity
Each person in the group still needs to create their own account and sign the waiver
You're volunteering as part of an organized team, but you'll still check in individually

We encourage groups to coordinate jerseys/shirts to be easily identifiable. We will take a group picture at the end of the event and tag you on our social media channels. We offer a great team-building opportunity, we hope you will join us!
